His performances are legendary, as he continues to bring a combination of sensitivity and vulnerability, road-worn adventure and folk-singer defiance to Texas music. This year, he celebrates not only his 76th birthday, but the 50th anniversary of “Mr. Bojangles” – his greatest musical milestone! Walker can be defined as “a little beat up but still ridin’ high.” He is a weathered titan out of a Larry McMurty novel – Sam the Lion of Texas music.” Bring your family and friends and look forward to a “grand” evening filled with heart-tugging ballads, spirited melodies and down-home fun.
